The New York Knicks, the second most valuable sports franchise ($780 million) in America, always seem to manage to disappoint their fans. This season is no exception, because Knicks are the sorriest team in the Eastern Conference. Their fans claim that they are a high caliber franchise, that they actually put them up there with winning organizations like: The LA Lakers, The Miami Heat and The Boston Celtics. They even go as far as claiming that The Knicks are The New York Yankees of Basketball; What! Even if the Knicks and the Yankees were in the same sport they would be polar opposites. They might have the same color scheme as the Mets but even the Mets are hometown heroes in their own right. Knicks fans are typically known for being desperate for a championship, delusional in thinking that signing star players that are overdue for retirement will come in and perform as they did for their former teams, which has always proven negative results but with large contracts. Knicks fans have profligate a lot into this sorry franchise that clearly takes advantage of their hope and dreams by raising ticket prices every season and the fans buy into it every year to see a downright pathetic squad on the hardwood floor in the so-called world greatest arena… Don’t believe the Hype! Anyway as their 2014 season comes to an end I will end with a traditional Knicks fan saying that dates back generations and that is”will get em next year”! Pathetic.
